I know this is off topic, but a friend of mine just emailed me that she is going to be walking in this year's Start! Heart Walk to raise funds for the American Heart Association.
Everyone knows someone affected by heart disease or stroke. For myself and those I love, I will be walking in this year’s Start! Heart Walk. I have set a personal goal to raise funds for the American Heart Association and need your help to reach my donation goal. The blog posts are still enjoyable! I will note this week that Forbes magazine has again named physicist ANGELA MERKEL as thhe world's most powerful woman. Given the scarcity of jobs in science, she has taken a job outside her field.
